Health and social care professionals regularly interact with people who are experiencing difficulties in life that are causing, or complicated by high levels of emotion but often they are unsure as how best to respond.

This can lead to significant problems in delivering services, staff morale, and service user satisfaction. By helping professionals to respond effectively, difficulties can be reduced for both staff and service users.

This course is designed to help staff guide service users to identify, understand and regulating instances of intense emotions so that they can find navigate their lives more effectively.
